Meet Rick Duran
I started in the insurance industry at 16 with Allstate as a team member then moved to State Farm. After nearly eight years, I opened my agency on July 1st, 2014, right after my 24th birthday.
I know what it’s like to work long hours and weekends to achieve success. After experiencing burnout and health issues, I realized the key to long-term success was great health, efficient systems, and strong management skills.
I attended seminars and training to better serve my team. In 2018, I started Level Up Consulting, now known as Agency Elite, to help other agents and their teams succeed.
In 2019, we achieved Trophy Club status. By April 2020, we were the #1 office in New Jersey and #9 in the company. This proved that our processes worked. Even when COVID-19 forced us to work remotely, we continued to thrive.

The Start of Agency Elite
At the end of a strong 2020, having achieved our 4th consecutive Presidents Club, we faced a major setback: losing 7 out of 9 team members. It was a true test of our systems and my skills in hiring and lead generation. With just two team members, we began rebuilding in 2021.
Fast forward to 2024, we now have 14 dedicated team members, two Chairman Circle/Exotic Offices, and a proven, repeatable process centered around the Core 5: Mindset, Management, Team, Leads, and Processes.
I've developed strategies that work not only in smooth times but also when challenges arise. As they say, anyone can succeed when things are easy, but true skill is shown when times are tough.
My mission now is to help as many agents and their teams as possible implement these systems to achieve success. Through weekly coaching for teams, monthly sessions with agents, and providing a supportive community, I aim to make a lasting impact. I believe our agency model is the best, and I want to help more teams win and continue to prove our success.
